Virtue Law Firm

My Promise To My Law Firm’s Clients To follow the Canons of Ethics in Ethical Rule 1.3 of the Ethical Rules for Attorneys in Arizona: A lawyer shall act with reasonable diligence and promptness in representing clients. This pledge means the attorney shall not only be diligent and timely for current clients but shall recognize that a lawyer’s work load must be controlled so that each matter can be handled competently. A client’s interests can be adversely affected by the passage of time or the change of conditions, and in extreme instances, as when a lawyer overlooks a statute of limitations the client’s legal position may be destroyed. Even when the client’s interests are not affected in substance, however, unreasonable delay can cause a client needless anxiety and undermine confidence in the lawyer’s trustworthiness. The Virtue Law firm pledges not to accept a new case that could cause current client legal work to be jeopardized for lack of attorney time.
